Consumer dispute resolution/universal arbitration centre

The EU Commission provides a platform for out-of-court online dispute resolution („ODR platform“), which can be accessed at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr can be called up. Furthermore, in accordance with Section 36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG), we are neither willing nor obliged to participate in a dispute resolution procedure at a consumer arbitration board.

According to § 7 para. 2 TMG, however, we as a service provider are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity.

Obligations to remove or block the use of information in accordance with general legislation remain unaffected by this. However, liability in this respect is only possible from the time we become aware of a specific infringement.
